Job Title: Duty Driver

Reports to: TMP Supervisor
The Duty Driver drives automobile or light truck to deliver messages, documents, packages and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies, may occasionally transport office personnel and visitors, perform miscellaneous errands, such as carrying mail to and from the post office and sorting or opening incoming and outgoing mail. The Duty Driver may obtain receipts for articles delivered and keep a log of items received and delivered, and deliver items to offices and departments within an establishment.
Provide VIP driver support upon request, delivery and pickup of mail for the LRC.
Perform duties as a substitute school bus driver, driver tester and dispatcher.
Input data correctly into an automated dispatch database.
Responsible for delivery and pickup of vehicles from GSA approved off post maintenance vendor.
Serve as the maintenance shops single point of contact (POC) for all assigned GSA vehicles being repaired on or off post.
Responsible for tracking scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, verify weekly repair status with vendors.
Responsible for maintaining accountability of supplies and equipment needed for maintaining GSA vehicles, the motor pool, the wash rack, and the facility. Coordinate turn-in dates with dealerships to have all required safely recalls for GSA vehicles applied. Coordinate additional driver support for Fort Stewart and Hunters' missions.
Maintain the TMP Office and Motor Pool area to include cutting and edging the grass.
Create routine reports and correspondences using email and Microsoft Word. Exchange data and information between application in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook), create mailing label for file folder, and use each application's formatting functions, sort and filter functions, page set-up, and insert picture functions.
Have a working knowledge of TMP specific transportation software (Access Database).
Must be capable of sitting,walking,climbing,crawling,stooping,bending,squatting,reaching and standing for long periods of time.
Maintains tools and equipment, and cleans work areas to maintain a safe work environment. Be able to work outside in inclement weather conditions when necessary.
Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and meet Government/Army standards when applicable.
Wearing safety items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. gloves, safety shoes, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and other items such as aprons or outerwear as appropriate.
Employee is required to maintain a valid state-issued Driver’s license and applicable Government/Army license.
Be able to understand instructions furnished in written and verbal form by supervisor/management. Be able to read and interpret documents and manuals (Any regulations and guidance, Federal and State regulations, etc.) and incorporate them into Duty Driver duties.
Perform other duties as required to support the mission and contractual requirements.
Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs.; stooping; climbing; prolonged standing; prolonged sitting; and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to the weather. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to, head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules.
Excellent written and oral communications skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Access Database.
Excellent attention to detail, self-starter, reliable, efficient, and flexible.
Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.

Education and Citizenship Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and ideally have completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator or equivalent training with 4-6 years of experience. Basic auto mechanic knowledge.
Ability to obtain and maintain Government CAC Card. Must have the ability to pass a Local Background check. Must have the ability to pass a 7 year Background check for required Child Care Investigation packet, implemented by the Government.
04-06 years of experience w/High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Must possess and maintain a valid Class "A" Driver's License with "T", "P", "S" and "X" endorsements. Valid Accident Avoidance Card (AAC). Must possess and maintain a current physical examination card. Must obtain a 3 year Driver History Record from the Department Motor Vehicle (DMV) office.
US nationality/citizenship and residence, with verbal and written fluency in English.
