Follows all company and work center specific production, administration and safety policies and procedures. Attends and actively participates in all required training. Maintains high level of transactional accuracy. Troubleshoots transactional errors and ensures they are corrected. Ensures that all processes are being done correctly and per work instructions where available. Ensures finished part counts are accurate prior to acceptance into department. Perform MS transaction in the system and ensure to pick and ship the parts within the customers shipping window. Run daily pick list based on customers shipping window. Verify count and proper identification of parts with the work order. Supports the team to achieve greater efficiency and productivity to meet the company’s operational and financial goals through the use of Lean principles and techniques. Ensures that all products are available to ship on time. Issue finished goods back to production or to vendors i.e. “Nordam”, etc. Obtain correct size crates and wrap, prepare, and package parts being sent to customers within the customers specifications. Obtain Certificate of Conformance from Quality Assurance for parts going to customers. Complete Bill of Lading (BOL). Call trucking companies to schedule pick up once type of delivery is confirmed with the Customers Service Representative or the Materials Manager (air, economy, ground and the # of days of delivery). Re-Order of packaging material as required. Use forklift to load parts. Ensure BOL is signed. Attach to original shipper. Enter the tracking information in the system. Give copy of shipper to A/R. Run unbilled shippers daily to ensure timely transactions. Employee is notified by the receiving that a customer return has been delivered. Employee opens the crate, box, pallet, or package and locates all paperwork. Employee verifies that the customer paperwork matches the parts concerning part number and quantity. Employee completes a Standardized / Receiving Record (SRR) listing any details from the parts, e.g. work order number, manufacturing date (stamped on part) reason for return, etc. Copies of the completed SRR are distributed as follows: Accounts receivable Corporate contracts Quality control SRR book located in shipping and receiving Materials manager Customer service representative The materials manager, controller, and accounting will determine the appropriate action concerning returned parts. Employee works with materials manager, whether to perform Bin transfer “61Pbond”, scrap parts or send back to quality and planning for rework. Makes sure cycle counts are done on time and accuracy is at acceptable levels, corrects it if it is not.
